A clear, structured 10-step journey that transforms how your school operates and is perceived.
The School Integrity Certification Program is a school-level integrity certification initiative. Developed by Step Up Nigeria, SICP provides schools with a structured, evidence-based framework to assess, strengthen, and demonstrate their institutional integrity.
Schools that complete the process earn the right to display the SICP seal — a recognised mark of excellence that tells communities, parents, and government: this school is committed to doing things right.

Awarded to schools that successfully complete all 10 integrity steps and meet the certification standard.
All information submitted by schools during the SICP process is treated with the strictest confidentiality. Data is used solely for certification assessment and is not shared with third parties without consent. Schools may withdraw at any stage without penalty.
To be eligible, a school must be a registered school in the country of residence, have a functioning School Management Committee, not be under Government Sanction, and be willing to undergo an independent integrity assessment.
Each step addresses a key pillar of school integrity. Schools work through these with guidance from SICP facilitators.
